A native of the Wyoming, Dr. Hibbard completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming and then attended the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He also completed his internship, residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at the Creighton University School of Medicine.
Upon completion of his education, Dr. Hibbard joined Consultants in Cardiology in Omaha, Nebraska where he spent several years. He then moved to Internal Medicine Associates prior to joining the BryanLGH Heart Institute in January 2002.
Dr. Hibbard has a specialty interest in interventional and vascular cardiology. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine Subspecialty Boards of Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is also a member of several additional professional societies including the American College of Medicine, American College of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians and a fellow of the American Society of Angiography/Intervention. Dr. Hibbard is also listed in the reference volume, “America’s Best Doctors,” a listing of the top referral specialists throughout the United States. Less than one percent of physicians nationwide are recognized with this designation.
Dr. Hibbard enjoys spending time with his wife Tracy and their three children, Cammy, Holly, Robin. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman and has enjoyed hunts in many exotic locations including Africa, the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Yukon, Alaska, Panama, Costa Rica, Zimbabwe, and the Hole in the Wall, Wyoming.
