Dr. Timothy Gardner is a native of Denver, Colorado, but having grown up in Portland, Oregon, considers that his hometown. He pursued his undergraduate education at Portland State University. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and graduated with honors. Dr. Gardner completed internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship including interventional cardiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 1996.
Dr. Gardner practiced in Cheynne, Wyoming for 12 years as an Interventional Cardiologist, specializing in Coronary and Peripheral Interventions. He also served as the Medical Director of the Heart Center at Cheynne Regional Medical Center. He joined the BryanLGH Heart Institute in 2008.
Dr. Gardner is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology and has been recognized several times as one of America's Best Cardiologists by the Consumer's Research Council of America. His special interests are in coronary and peripheral interventions and pacemaker implantations.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Patti and three sons; Heath, Ben and Sam. He is an avid fly-fisherman and enjoys camping, skiing and the Kansas City Chiefs.
